We just love yogurt curry in our household now. I never had this while growing up but learnt to eat it at my in-laws house and now it is a staple in my own home. It is creamy, delicious, so easy to make and satisfies all our taste buds. The original recipe has some fried dough balls made of chickpea flour but I have omitted that due to excess calories and instead paired it with some grilled eggplant on the side with spices. This is a great dish to have as the weather is getting warmer.
This dish is great for the gut as well. It has probiotics, mustard seeds are beneficial to digestion. They help to ease cramps and gas in the stomach. Ginger used in this recipe is anti-inflammatory together with turmeric powder. All the ingredients promote a healthy digestion.
